 Turtle Lake-It’s a small lake at the outskirts of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, so named due to the perceived abundance of turtles living in these places. Turtle Lake is located on the wooded northern slope of Mtatsminda Mount.The Turtle Lake area is designed as a recreational zone and is frequented by the Tbilisians on weekends.West to the lake is the Open Air Museum of Ethnography, a large exhibition of Georgia’s folk architecture.

Tabatskuri -  a drainless mountain lake in Georgia, on the territory of the Samtskhe-Javakheti region. It is located on the Javakheti plateau, at the foot of the Trialeti and Samsara ranges.Lake Tabatskuri is located at an altitude of 1991 meters above sea.

The cave town Uplistsikhe - ancient cave city, one of the first cities on the territory of Georgia. Uplistsikhe is carved in a rock located 12 km east of the town of Gori on the left bank of the Kura River.The city emerged at the end of the II - at the beginning of the I millennium BC, experienced several ups and downs, was finally abandoned in the XIX century and is this a multilayer archaeological site, one of the most important monuments of Georgian culture. In the heyday Uplistsikhe included more than 700 caves and cave structures, of which only 150 have survived to the present day.

 Vardzia - the cave monastery complex of the XII-XIII centuries in the south of Georgia, in Javakheti. An outstanding monument of medieval Georgian architecture. It is located in the Aspindza district of Samtskhe-Javakheti, in the valley of the river Kura (Mtkvari), about 100 km south of Borjomi.Currently, the cave monastery of Vardzia is one of the main tourist attractions of southern Georgia. In 2005, the question was raised about including the complex as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Paravani Lake - the lake in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region in the south of Georgia is located on the territory of the Ninotsminda municipality, between the Javakheti and Samsar ranges. It is the largest lake in the country.The lake is located at an altitude of 2,073 meters above sea level and has an area equal to 37.5 km². From the lake flows the Paravani River - the right tributary of the Kura River. 

Prometheus Cave - karst cave in the west of Georgia, in the vicinity of the city of Tskhaltubo, a natural monument. The total length of the cave is about 11 km., Of which 1,060 m are open to visitors. The cave was discovered on July 15, 1983 by the expedition of the Institute of Geography named  Vakhushti Bagrationi, although the entrance in the form of a large arch was known for a long time.

Ardagan Lake–  has existed for a very long time, almost from the time when the seaside city of Batumi was located here.The lake received its name from the eponymous district of the capital of Adjara, and in its turn - on behalf of the famous Ardahan detachment, who fought selflessly in the city of Ardahan in the Russian-Turkish war.

Lake Paliastomi a small lake in the Colchis lowland. Located next to the mouth of the River Rioni. It is more like an estuary than a lake, because it feeds on rivers flowing into it and swims through a small estuary in the Black Sea. On the shore of the lake is the Georgian city of Poti.

Lake Ilya is an artificial reservoir in the Alazani Valley, near the town of Kvareli. It is filled with a noisy river Duruji, carrying its waters among the picturesque mountain ranges and vineyards of Saperavi.

The lake received its name in honor of Ilya Chavchavadze, a well-known Georgian writer of the early 20th century.

Lake Lopota is a romantic and mysterious place in the east of Georgia. Surrounded by picturesque mountain peaks and virgin forests, the lake provides ample opportunities for nature lovers and relaxing holidays.

Here you can make exciting walks or horseback riding, go boating and just chat with friends, enjoying the natural silence and harmony. The emergence of Lake Lopota is associated with a beautiful ancient legend, according to which it is a symbol of the fulfillment of desires and peace of mind.

Lake Lisi is a small lake in Georgia, located in the valley of the river Mtkvari. It has dimensions of 800 and 550 m. The lake is surrounded by a stony steppe landscape with a few vegetation. Height above sea level is 624 m.

The lake is equipped for tourists: here you can rent a boat and go for a walk on the water, and on the beach visit a tennis court or relax in a cozy cafe.

Forty kilometers north of Tbilisi, between the mountains on the Aragvi River there is an incredibly beautiful Zhinvali water reservoir 14 km long and 75 m deep, containing more than a half a billion cubic meters of water, from where it is taken for the Georgian capital.

This reservoir is one of the most beautiful and favorite places, in the people it is even called Zhinvali lake.

The Okace Canyon is the largest attraction of the Khonsky district and one of the several cultivated sights of Imereti.

It is a three-kilometer canyon with a depth of about 50 m. A suspension metal road is now laid to the middle of the canyon.

Martvili canyon is a beautiful and extraordinary creation of nature located in the west of Georgia. It was discovered only recently, but thanks to his beauty has already become truly famous. Visitors to this wonderful place come from all over the world.

The length of the canyon is 2400 m and the depth reaches 40 m. In the middle of the canyon there is a ledge in which the water falls down, forming a stunning stepped waterfall 12 m high.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure to the Turtle Lake.  Sightseeing tour around Tbilisi. Climb on the

mountain Mtatsminda by funicular, from where you can see the whole Tbilisi.


A trip to Lake Lisi, where you can sit in the shade with a cup of coffee, to go boating.

Night Tbilisi - the glass bridge of the "Peace" park Rike.


Return to the hotel.

Day 3


Departure from the hotel in the direction of Lake Paravani, the largest lake in


If desired, you can try the local delicious fish - ryabushku. After the journey

continues through the cities of Ninotsminda, Akhalkalaki to the cave city of

Vardzia. Inspection of the cave city. Lunch in a cafe near the river Kura, at the foot

of Vardzia.

Departure to Borjomi.

Departure towards the city of Poti, to the Paliastomi lake.


Departure towards the city of Batumi to Ardagan lake.

Departure from the hotel in the direction of Okace and Martvili canyons, in the

most beautiful places of Georgia,


Departure towards Prometheus cave, one of the largest caves in Georgia (1.5 km)

and the caves of Sataplia, where the most ancient traces of dinosaurs were


Settlement in the city of Kutaisi.


Day 6


Departure towards the cave town Uplistsikhe, which is more than 2000 year.


Departure to the Military-Georgian road to the Ananuri fortress and Zhinval water

reservoir, which is popularly called the Zhinval lake.

Departure to Tbilisi.

Day 7


Note: if late departure, departure to Mtskheta, inspection of Svetitskhoveli and

Samtavro churches, climb to one of the most sacred places of Georgia to the

monastery of Jvari.

Note: if you order individually, you can add one day and visit three beautiful

lakes: Tabazkuri, Kahishi and Zhuravlinoye, but it's impossible to get there by car

because of the distance from the main roads and obstruction, the tour is mostly

on foot and paid separately.
